This week's question is one I get to hear almost every week, and it touches on the condition of the human soul and the spirit of a man.
Question
"My boyfriend is prayerful, he loves God, and he is active in the Church. I love this about him, but my pain is that he is often awful to me. He shouts at me, criticises me a lot and he makes me feel small. I don't understand how he's got 2 personalities... help please!"
Every human being is made up of 3 primary parts: the spirit, the body and the soul.
The spiritual state of a man can influence the soul-ish state of that man... if and only if he allows it. More importantly, the state of a man's spirit cannot be assumed to be the same as the state of his soul (his mind, emotions and will).
